My wife is very attractive and athletic. She tells me how men tell her she has nice legs, and how a couple once asked her to have sex while she was leaving a restaurant. She said no, but is she telling me these things for a reason?

Very interesting question. I'm glad you brought it up. She may be sharing the information simply in the name of honesty. She wants to be upfront with you and so she is sharing what happened. It's possible that she may be interested in inviting someone into your bed. The only way to find out is to ask.

Now, you're going to have to approach this delicately, of course. You don't want her to think you are accusing her of anything. So set the scene. During a relaxing meal or a quiet evening at home, when you are both happy and comfortable, begin the conversation – slowly – and see if you can uncover what she might be thinking.

You'll also have to address your own thoughts on the issue, and that will drive the conversation. Is this about actually doing something, or just about discussing fantasies?

The two of you have a lot of talking to do. If you can swing it, a romantic getaway weekend to somewhere exotic would be a great spot for doing just that. You're away from home, where everything is different and anything is possible.

If you can't do that, stage a "staycation" at a local hotel or even at your own place. Surprise her with a fantastic dinner, new sheets on the bed, glowing candles and fresh flowers. Sweep her off her feet and she will probably open up to you and, hopefully, satisfy your curiosity.
